Join Rachael for an evening on the beach and indulge in a creative flow yoga class honoring the solar and lunar energies as the sun dips into the gulf and the full moon rises over the bay. Enjoy the collective vibrations of peace and rejuvenation

as we practice together in a tranquil setting.  Class is suited for mix levels of ability.

Bring a towel, sheet or blanket.  (Sorry, IYS mats are not available for beach classes)

** Everyone meets at the studio for registration.  We then walk across to the beach together finding the perfect spot for practice.

The cycle of the New Moon is an auspicious time to plant seeds, set intentions and create new beginnings.  Harness this New Moon energy of manifestation with a flowing beach yoga class incorporating journaling and spiritual rituals to live the life

~Meditation in Motion~
Our body remembers our life.  Emotions and experiences can sometimes become stuck in different places in our physical body causing tension, stress and dis-ease. Using meditation and gentle yoga poses to journey up through each of the body’s seven primary energy centers, you will explore the relationship between your physical, emotional and subtle bodies releasing all stagnant energy.  Expect to leave your mat feeling refreshed, lighter and throughly balance inside and out.

Mala beads have been used for centuries for prayer and meditation.  Today, many people wear their mala beads as simple reminder

of their personal and spiritual intentions.  You will make a necklace strung with 108 beads including semi precious stones associated with the color and energy of each chakra.  Infuse each bead with your special intentions.

Adorn yourself with your infused intentions feeling balanced and beautiful!

What to bring:
Your GLASSES!!  Beading is a delicate job involving small pieces.
Your journal and pen.  (optional) You can write down your specific intentions and insights for each chakra.

Limited to 10 participants!

The Yoga of Foam Rolling with Cindy & Nicole
“Roll, Release & Restore”

Join us for an evening of time well spent on the foam roller!  The yoga of foam rolling rehydrates the muscles and fascia, improves flexibility, calms the nervous system, increases range of motion and much, much more.  Cindy will guide you in a centering yoga warm-up to prepare the body to receive the benefits of rolling.  Nicole will guide you through a specific sequence on the foam roller targeting common tight and dehydrated areas of your body.  Modifications will be offered

to ensure a healing experience had by ALL.
This practice is appropriate for everyone!
Experienced yoga practitioners can expect a deeper opening in the body enhancing your yoga practice.

Gentle Chair Yoga with Cindy

Cost:  $12
Where:  Art League Holmes Beach – 5312 Holmes Blvd

CHAIR YOGA is ideal for this who do not want to, or are unable to, get down to the floor on a traditional yoga mat.  Using the chair for support, the postures will be presented in a slow, clear and manageable way in order for you to comfortable and confidently connect with your mind and body.  As you practice traditional yoga poses adapted to a chair

you can focus more closely on breathing, mindfulness, flexibility and balance.

Improve your posture and breathing
Restore and maintain mobility and balance
Increase mental, physical and spiritual awareness
Meet new people and have fun

Enjoy ALL of the benefits of a regular yoga practice in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.

  • Pre-payment is required in full at the time of registration in order to reserve your space.
  • Registration can be completed online if payment is made by credit card.
  • All other registrations can be completed in studio or mail by cash or check.
  • If you cancel 3 days prior to workshop start date, a studio credit will be issued.
  • No refunds, transfers or credits for cancellation within 3 days of workshop start date.
  • In addition, no refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete workshop.
  • If Island Yoga Space cancels a workshop, a full refund will be issued.
