A 90 minute session which includes an introduction to paddleboarding, a short paddle journey, and an hour of guided yoga on the boards. Immerse yourself in nature, connecting mind and body as we flow through yoga poses with the water beneath us and the sky above. A beautiful way to harmonize body and spirit. This is an all levels yoga class that is suitable for new and beginner paddlers. No SUP experience is needed, just a yearning for adventure and fun out on the water!

For the weekly classes we launch at the AMI Historical Museum (aka. the old island jail)  located at 402 Pine Ave on the north end of the island. There is plenty of parking in their lot.
The boards are dropped off approximately 15 minutes before class starts.  We ask that you arrive early to listen to the safety talk.
All participants are responsible for their own transportation.

What to bring:

Towel, sunscreen, water bottle, hat/sunglasses.

What to wear:

Swimsuit or active wear (preferably quick dry or moisture wicking)

Paddleboarding is more accessible then most realize, and is great for people of all ages. Our SUP yoga class takes place in wind sheltered environments and in calm, flat water. The boards are very stable and most people are surprised at how easy it is to stand up and balance. Paddleboarding is the fasted growing water sport in the world and continues to grow in popularity each year. Come find out what all the buzz is about!


Must be 12 years or older. Must know how to swim.

Cancellation policy:

Because we keep our class size limited to 6 people to afford specialized attention to each participant, our cancellation policy is as follows:
~ Notify us of a cancellation at least 24 hours before the class start time. A full refund or credit will be issued.
~ No refunds or credits if cancelling after the 24 hour grace period.

Weather Clause:

If weather conditions are too strong for a practice, Island Yoga Space will contact you by phone at least one hour before your class start time.
Registered participants can reschedule their class without additional fees. If rescheduling is not possible, a refund can be provided.
Be sure to include the best number to reach you when registering for class.

As a native Floridian, Rachael grew up beaching on Anna Maria Island and boating the surrounding waterways. The saltwater lifestyle became a part of her soul very early on. Most of her childhood days were spent pruned and sun-kissed from living life as if a mermaid. Now a days, not much has changed and the saltwater lifestyle is still what delights her most. When she discovered SUP Yoga, she knew she’d found her niche. The second she gave it a try, she was hooked. Combining yoga with the elements of the ocean, surrounded by nature allows for true connection. Feeling the energy of the water coursing below you, the breeze around you, and the sun above, all amidst a flowing yoga practice is nothing less than magical. Sharing the gift of yoga is an amazing part of Rachael’s life, but sharing it on the water is her dream come true.
